Haftputz: plasters

In older buildings or extensive conversions, there are often very irregular plaster surfaces and substrates made of different materials. In many cases you can achieve the best results here with adhesive plaster. For indoor use gypsum-lime-based plasters are suitablethat develop a very high adhesion to the substrate.

In general, the plasters are applied to the cleaned, cleaned of light color residues and vorgenässten substrate with the trowel in a thickness of a few millimeters. Then the plaster is smoothed with a sponge board. As a rule, the surface is rougher than with fine plaster, because adhesive plasters have a slightly coarser grain. If a fine surface is desired, you can smooth the hardened surface with sandpaper.
