1. Prepare veneers and interior wall

The electrical fuse has to be removed and the panels have to be removed.

The inner wall must be prepared so that the adhesive will hold. The absorbency of the wall is to be tested as well as the maintenance of plaster. Whether the wall chalks or a wallpaper must be removed beforehand.

The veneers are now mixed, because each carton can mean slight color deviations. In addition, large and small stones must be mixed accordingly in non-symmetrical, naturally shaped facing bricks. For the first row on the ground, as large a veneer as possible should be chosen, and as nearly as possible a veneer on the underside.

Then, in the meantime, the inner wall will be processed accordingly and a deep primer (strongly absorbent substrate) or primer (hardly or not absorbent substrate) will be applied.

2. Dressing up with the stones

First, the corner stones are laid. These should be at least one row higher than the running stones on the wall. The tile adhesive is mixed according to instructions and still needs time to mature. The trowel is applied with the trowel. Then work with the tooth trowel webs at a 45-degree angle in the adhesive and pressed the flagstones in small circular movements in the tile adhesive.

3. The grouting of the stone wall

Jointing differs from grouting tiles, especially with uneven flagstones. The grout is poured into a piping bag (plastic bag) and then injected into the joints. Then the grout is distributed in the grout and slightly "sanded" with a joint sponge. On wall joints, to the ceiling is used elastic silicone joint compound or acrylic joint compound. Acrylic is spreadable.

4. Thesis after cladding the inner wall

Now the attachment rings can be placed on sockets and light switches, so that the panels rest flush on the now slightly higher wall and are still firmly screwed or locked. After completion of the work, the fuse can be switched on again.

If you really want to do everything yourself, the construction trade offers countless shapes that you can use to cast and color the tiles and veneers yourself (both painting and painting as well as concrete colors).
