Unfortunately, a little work has to be invested in the cleaning of the aquarium. Of course, no detergents can be used for this. How to properly care for the aquarium with little work, we show here.

Reduce work - plan aquarium properly

Fish do their business where they are. Thus, the aquarium is constantly fertilized from the inside. In addition, plant parts die off, which also rot and settle in the soil as a layer of mulch. On the other hand, the right plants also produce oxygen for the pelvis and consume some of the fish fertilizer again for their growth.

One of these plants is the pearl herb, which grows very fast and often has to be cut back. However, it also prevents algae growth quite effectively and looks good. Also, many nutrients consume plants with red leaves. So you bring not only variety in the pelvis, the care is also simplified.

It is important that some of the sludge is removed from the substrate with a mulch vacuum and the filter in the pump is well rinsed out.

When shells have been settled, however, the mud should be mixed as little as possible. If the pool has run in well, the amount of water that is exchanged during a change can also be significantly reduced. It is only important that from time to time some clean water gets into the circulation.
