1. Acclimatise bamboo click floor

First store the click parquet in the room where it is to be installed for about 48 hours. This time is needed to adapt to humidity and temperature.

2. Lay underbody, impact sound insulation and moisture barrier

For floor cooling you need a special foil as a moisture barrier. Above that comes the underbody, which is also rolled out and cut to size. If you need a sound insulation, then place it directly under the parquet.

3. Bamboo click-floor: start laying work

The side of the first parquet row resting against the wall does not require a longitudinal spring: remove it with the saw. Always keep a wall distance of about 1 cm, which serves as an expansion joint.

4. Lay the next rows

Start the next rows of bamboo click floor with at least 40 cm offset, start with the remaining piece from the first row. Lock the click system first longitudinally and then across with hammer and impact protection.

5. Tails and last row

Tighten all end pieces with the pull bar. The panels for the last row have to be sawed lengthways: Measure the distance to the wall and pull off the expansion joint.

Tips & Tricks

For larger rooms, plan a slightly wider expansion joint!
