Ricc - I blog for you

Unfortunately, today I have no picture for you. At least none of my productive results. Because I was not productive, but was a little traveling and have visited the Unperfekthaus in Essen over the weekend. The reason was a TYPO3 barcamp. Yes, what is that, I wondered too. In other words, TYPO3 is roughly a CMS used to create and edit websites. The software is open source, meaning that anyone can use and extend it. Many companies use a lot of money and energy to realize their own projects. I too work as a user daily. Although this camp was rather aimed at the developers and programmers, but you can also take a lot as a user. Especially nice acquaintances and interesting conversations.

Hallway in the imperfect house

The second question is probably: What is a barcamp. Imagine this as a big meeting for which there is no firm plan. The day begins with a joint planning session in which participants introduce themselves who think they can contribute to a specific subject area with an interesting topic. Then it asks how great the interest is and assigns a space and a time to this topic. If enough topics are together, and if the day is filled, everyone can decide for themselves which topic he or she wants to go to, or if he misses one and seeks direct contact with other participants. A great idea that works really well.

The venue, the Unperfekthaus, was something very special. On the basis of an old monastery, a hotel, event location and freely accessible artist space was created. In large rooms or smaller compartments everyone can nest here with his art or handicraft, be active and exhibit or sell his works. As a visitor, you can see everything that artists ask or just look over their shoulders. A great idea, which I captured in a few pictures:

Blouse show DIY, wood and DIY

Massive, massive.... Firewood shelter

Yes, how do you define the wooden shelter of Holzwerkstatt Blog? The building can be summarized in a nutshell and may clarify the result: trees felled, build felled trees and connect, roof on it - that's guaranteed

Floor out - floor in - expansion without end

DIY Work Blog reports another great success of his current construction. It is difficult to summarize and therefore difficult to describe. Who follows it, knows which work here meet. Cleaning, installing windows, plastering, new floors.... Just take a look and leaf through the posts backwards

Attention - again the Tyrolean chest

Yes, there she is again, the chest of Wood & glue, And she got an interesting lid. Even if I had probably put the visible transitions on the pages, I find this variant very interesting. This makes the lid look thicker and more interesting.

New workshop

The Wood and metal Blog had to stand out of the cellar in a 30 m² workshop and now has twice the space available. Of course, my pity is limited. Kaum Against such a move, hardly anyone will have something to object to and even with the fact that there is still a heater to be installed, can live. Yes, in my sentences you rightly read some envy.

Restoration of a column drill

It does not have to be all new and especially for larger machines, a refurbishment is usually not only cheaper, it also often offers more solid technology. wood projects has now made his column drill, the spindle revise and overhauled from scratch. The result is impressive and will do its work for a while.
