Apply coating plaster in the ceiling area

Brush-on plaster can of course be applied not only to the walls, but also to the ceiling. In particular, if with lime or clay plaster and the walls are plastered, it is of course advisable to use the same plaster for the ceiling.

Avoid complicated and tedious strokes

When painting ceilings, you can not simply use an extension pole and work from the ground, as with brushing or brushing, as it would be too dripping. Here it is possible to easily apply the plaster to the ceiling, which can almost always be used simultaneously as a roller plaster and vice versa. For plasters that should be painted, such as some clay plaster plasters, or if a clear brush optics is also desired on the ceiling, only the ladder remains. Here you can make life a lot easier with a little advance organization.

Bucket attachment to the ladder and system ladders

In order to avoid tipping the bucket, you should definitely use a professional and stable bucket attachment. However, what is most suitable for working on the ceiling are so-called system ladders, which can also be converted into a small, movable scaffolding. They allow you to work on larger surfaces without having to move the ladder, and some systems also have built-in wheels that allow the scaffolding to be moved. In this way you make working much easier - and system ladders are only slightly more expensive than a standard stepladder, but infinitely more helpful - even with other work in the house and possibly also outside. Such an acquisition is worthwhile in any case.

Best to use protective suit

Since you have to work overhead on the ladder as well as on the scaffold, you should definitely make sure that you are protected as much as possible by the spray down. In practice, complete protective suits with an integrated hood have proven themselves for such painting and plastering work.
