Saw the individual plywood panels with one table saw to the specified dimensions. Alternatively, it would also be possible for you to have the panels cut in the hardware store.

To control the dimension of the back panel and front panel, the sides, lid and bottom are folded together as they are later assembled. If the size of the plates is not exactly right, you have to rework.

In the middle of the back wall, a circle of approx. 120 mm is marked (compass or CD). Drill at one point of the circle and saw off the so-called sound hole with a jigsaw or a jigsaw. The edges of the sound hole are deburred with sandpaper.

On the Backplane are glued on the inside circumferential strips. Make sure that the strips are exactly flush with the outer edges of the plywood panels. The pages also get a bar at the front and top and bottom. The upper and lower strips stand back so far that the rear wall including the strips can still be inserted from the back (about 18 mm).

After the glue has dried, the sides, bottom and lid are glued together. It is important that all items be assembled flush. Record the length of the strips glued to the lid and floor at the front. Cut off the strips and glue them firmly.

The coat (item 4 on the material list) is screwed to the front (Allen screw 3 x 12). Pre-drill the holes (3 mm) for the screws at a distance of approx. 70 mm. The screws in the lower area are tightened. The screws above the middle must be loose, that is tighten once and then loosen again by one turn.

Spend everything with constraints. Excess glue is removed after drying with a sharp pry bar.

Round off the edges with a hand sanding block or a milling cutter. The surfaces are ground with an eccentric sander. Last cut grit P180.
