Cleaning lime sandstone - gently!

Although sand-lime brick can also be created without impregnation or plastering. But the stone takes on dirt and is difficult to get rid of dirt pulled in again. Strong chemical cleaners only attack the surface of the stone and tend to cause more damage than the dirt creates.

Especially with lime sandstone, the cheapest cleaning tip is the sand-lime brick itself. A smooth piece can be excellently used as a sanding block. Precisely because the quarry stone has the same color as the masonry itself, it may not be possible to discolor it here. In addition, even the actual stone color is actually refreshed.
