The individual structure of a deep well

The structure of a deep well is often adapted to the water supply achieved. The well pipe is lowered to the water-bearing layer, which is to be tapped. This can often only be the third or fourth water layer, especially if service water and drinking water is to be obtained.

In large well depths, the water can be found in a kind of free water vein or as deep water, which flows relatively freely through clean boulders. In this case it is not absolutely necessary to remove the filter tube at least two meters below the water level. The "dabbing" of the well pipe end in the water is sufficient in some cases already to pump the necessary volume.

The water pump should be placed at least one meter below the water surface to prevent dry running. Professional well builders often recommend a complete extension of the wells sole to keep away even later occurring sand and mud particles.
