Instructions for the exterior plaster

If you want to plaster the walls of your house on the outside, you have to pay attention to some important things, and to follow carefully planned steps. The following instructions will show you what is important.

Renew external plaster

If you already have a slightly damaged external plaster on your house, which should only be covered with a new finishing plaster, you usually have little work to do with exterior roller cleaning - apart from the fact that you need to set up a scaffolding to actually use the to work the entire facade. You can also set it up by a specialist company, or work with small, mobile scaffolding for DIY, if you only have a one-story house.

Step 1: Check the old plaster for damage. Damage is cracks, cracks, but also holes in the plaster, cavities and brittle areas. Before you apply new plaster, of course, they must repair these places accordingly. Make sure that they really expose the entire damaged area in order to be able to repair it comprehensively.

Step 2: If you use roller brush from the finished container, you can easily apply the roller brush with a wide roller. You should make sure that the job is as opaque as possible, but also as evenly thick as possible. As a rule, this is not a problem even with little practice.

Ensure sufficient fall protection when moving on scaffolding.

Reinstall exterior plaster

It gets more complicated here - but not much. First of all, find out which plaster is most suitable for your building, then you can already get on the scaffolding.

Step 1: Check the wall surface for adhesion and clean it carefully from contaminants. If the adhesion is problematic, you must first apply either a suitable primer, otherwise a sticking spray on it. This may also be necessary in problem areas such as roller shutter boxes or similar other materials. Determine if you need or want to use a plaster reinforcement.

Step 2: Apply the cleaning plasters for the plinth plaster and plaster the plinth.

Step 3: Attach the skirting boards, then the cleaning strips for the outside wall, and plaster them in the required layer thickness according to the design and in the desired number of layers.
