Wraps are light and delicious with a spicy filling. If they are served on a New Year's Eve buffet as a party snack, they are cut into small bites, so that the guests can serve them in between. With this recipe, everyone can make their own wrap snacks in just a few minutes:

Ingredients for spaetzle dough and filling

  • 500 g spaetzle flour
  • 80 g of dried ham sliced
  • 200 g of grated cheese
  • 1 stick of leek
  • 2 carrots
  • 2-3 tablespoons of butter lard
  • 5 eggs
  • 185-250 ml of cold water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

For the casting:

  • 250 g of sour cream
  • 200 ml of milk
  • 6 eggs
  • Salt pepper


In the first step will be the spaetzle dough made from flour, a pinch of salt, eggs and cold water prepared. If you do not have a pasta or spaetzle machine, simply split the dough into long strips with a knife. Then peel the carrots and grate them with a grater into rough pieces. Then the leeks are cleaned and cut into narrow, short strips. Finally, chop the raw ham into small cubes and stir it together with the grated cheese and vegetables into the spaetzle.

Now the spaetzle-vegetable mixture with a little clarified butter while stirring fried for about 5 minutes.

The next step is the casting: For this purpose, the ingredients for the casting are added, seasoned with salt, pepper and nutmeg and then poured over the vegetable spaetzle. Well, you have to The mixture at medium heat for about 20 minutes simmer in the closed pan.

Recipe for bread with salmon cream


  • 1 baguette bar
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 75 g whipped cream
  • 75 g of sour cream
  • 30 g of butter
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation of the bread and salmon cream

For this simple party snack you can either use ready-made salmon cream - if you want to go fast - or you prepare the spread yourself. For this a piece of butter is melted in the pan and the baguette is cut into thin slices.

Then smear the top of the slices with the liquid butter and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. While the salmon cream is being prepared, the oven should preheat to approx. 150° C (circulating air). Cut the smoked salmon into very small pieces and season with lemon juice, sour cream and cream. If you do not like pieces, puree the mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

Now the baguette slices baked in the oven for a few minutes and placed on a grid for cooling. Only then are the bread slivers coated with salmon and served on plates for the New Year's Eve buffet.

Crêpes rolls with smoked salmon


For the dough:

  • 125 g of flour
  • salt
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • clarified butter

For the filling:

  • 250 g smoked salmon in slices
  • 200 g of yogurt
  • 125 g of lean quark
  • ½ teaspoon horseradish (glass)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped herbs (eg parsley, chives, basil)
  • salt
  • pepper

  • 150g mushrooms
  • 75 g smoked turkey breast
  • 6 wheat toasties
  • paprika
  • 250 g of tomato sauce with herbs
  • 100 g of corn
  • 120 g of Emmentaler
  • oregano
  • basil
