Paving stones in circle arrangement

Circles in the pavement loosen up rectilinear plaster bandages and, depending on personal taste, can be accentuated through color and patterning. Completely circular paved areas can also be attractive, for example, as a free-space attachment in the garden.

Finished circular plaster made of concrete

Most manufacturers of concrete paving stones offer complete circle sets. The spectrum ranges from monochrome and geometrically even patterns to representational representations such as wind roses or spiral curves. The diameters of the prefabricated kits start at thirty centimeters and reach in increments of one more paving stone row up to more than four meters. As an indicative price, you can count on around 200 euros for a circular set of concrete with a diameter of between three and 3.50 meters. When a circle of paving stones is put together freely, the material price differs according to the same criteria as with other plaster bandages. Simple gray wedge-shaped paving stones for paving circles cost from 15 euros per square meter. With different colors and the use of rumbled, rolled or otherwise pre-processed paving stones, material square meter prices from 25 euros are common.

If you want to create circular paving from natural stone, an artistic aspect is included. For the circular arrangement, the natural paving stones must be individually selected and adjusted to each other. Some suppliers offer pre-sorted stone mixes where most paving stones have trapezoidal and rhombic shapes and ideally rounded edges on the wider side. If you use unsorted natural paving stones, you will have to reckon with excess paving stones that are not suitable for the circular shape. Experts calculate about one-third of waste, which of course can be used for other plaster bandages with horizontal and vertical joint profiles. When planning your patch, you must consider the percentage of the circular patch on the total pavement area. If the circular area remains below half of the total area, an unsorted natural stone mixture calculated on square meters is usually sufficient.
