Replacing all windows - these costs are incurred

After a few decades most windows have to be replaced. Only then can the current energy-saving standards be achieved today with an older house. Not only are the costs for the windows on the homeowner too.

Window prices plus replacement costs

If an exchange of old windows is planned for new models, the builder can not use the prices from the construction market as a basis for comparison. Likewise, the prices from the Internet are not relevant for him. Hardly any company will be happy to install the windows bought by third parties.

The prices in our example, of course, can only show the approximate costs. We use plastic windows with double glazing here.

All window openings remain the same size as they used to be. If larger windows are used, of course, considerable additional costs are incurred, in some cases even a building permit must be obtained.

Tips & Tricks

On average, you have to expect about 50.00 euros per hour worked. Since the removal of the old windows can often cause unpredictable problems, you should rather agree on a fixed price. Otherwise you might face nasty surprises when the bill comes.
