UV radiation, leaves, rainwater: If the sandbox is unpredictably outdoors, it can be used much less than with a canopy. Our sandbox with roof is stable, shapely and completely covered.

Practical screw-in sleeves mean you do not have to do any concrete work, but the side edges are still stable and also designed for the weight of the parents.

We wish you and your children a lot of fun in the sandpit and a nice summer in the garden.

First you have to excavate a pit for the sandbox: About 20 cm deep you have to remove the earth with a spade in an exact square of 1.50 by 1.50 meters; The bottom of the pit should be perfectly flat if possible.

Hit the impact sleeves exactly in a square of 1.50 m into the ground. Exact work is very important for further construction now. There must be an exact distance of 150 cm between the outer sides of the wrapping sleeves.

Now insert the 1.60 m posts into the impact sleeves and screw them to the two with two 100 mm screws (with washers) outer sides firmly.

Now comes the pond fleece: Place the pond fleece in the pit so that it protrudes 5 cm above the edge. These 5 cm clamp now firmly with the bottom of the two frame boards - slipping should be nothing more.

Screw the frame boards with two 100mm screws + washers each stuck to the inside of the posts. It is recommended to drill through the boards beforehand with the 10 mm wood drill - so it screws much easier.

The second row of planks is placed flush on the first: Also here screw down and pre-drill. Do not forget washers!

Wood screws 6x60 mm

Take the 5 cm Kanthälzer at the hand and cut the ends with miter saw at 45° miter. Place the Kanthözer on top of the roof posts as a rectangle and mark one drill point at each contact point.

Then drill the eight attachment points with the drill and the ten-bit drill and screw the frame to the roof with the 100 mm screws (with washers).

Then take the two roof tiles and hand them over 10 cm overlap next to each other on the roof construction. On each side of the roof, mark 5 drill points on the roof panels to hold the roof.

Carefully drill the corrugated sheets with the 8 mm drill bit and screw the roof with the 60 mm screws + M8 washers little tightening torque on the roof construction. If the screws are too tight, the material may splinter!

Your sandbox is ready!

In order to protect the entire sandbox construction from the effects of the weather, a treatment with a wood preservation glaze is recommended. Since these should only be used with care in the catchment area of children, we recommend an aromatic-free glaze with low-emission ingredients.

So are Aie ecological and wood protection technology on the safe side.
