Apply synthetic resin plaster with good properties properly

Synthetic resin plaster is often referred to as a dispersion plaster. It is a tough and highly elastic material that offers many advantages over other methods. There are different variants of the material, each having different properties. Synthetic resin plaster is available as a rubbing plaster, as a scratch coat and as a roll and brush plaster. The material is quite easy to process, it is very flexible.

Properties and advantages of synthetic resin plaster

If you use synthetic resin plaster, the risk of chipping or cracking is significantly lower than with other materials, especially if the substrate is deformed by moisture or strong temperature fluctuations. There is a very stable connection between the synthetic resin plaster and the respective substrate. In addition, synthetic resin plaster has the following good properties:

  • Synthetic resin plaster is water-repellent and thus relatively resistant to weathering.
  • The material hardens much faster than, for example, mineral plaster.
  • In addition, the material can be applied in a thinner layer than other Putzarten.

However, there are a few drawbacks as well: the vapor permeability is much lower with dispersion plaster than with other materials. In addition, the susceptibility to fungal attack may be slightly higher.

Synthetic resin plaster is very easy to apply or apply

Synthetic resin plaster a ready-to-use product to which only a small amount of water is added. However, as with most other plaster types, you should be aware that the material should not be processed at too low a temperature of less than five degrees Celsius. In addition, the substrate should be crack-free, dry and free of mold or fungi. It is applied manually with trowels and floats, just like other materials of this kind. In some cases, it may even be possible to process the plaster with a machine for spray plaster. With a little manual skill, you can apply the plaster very well and even achieve an artistic surface design. However, this only applies if the surface causes no problems.

The processing steps for this material

First apply the synthetic resin plaster with a stainless steel trowel and then remove it to grain thickness. Then you can rub the plastered surface with a wooden board or a float and provided with the desired pattern. Incidentally, the materials are available in many different colors for both interior and exterior surfaces.
