Tips for buying composite paving stones

Laying plaster with concrete paving stones combines several advantages. The production and thus also the price of materials is one of the lowest of all types of paving stones. Due to the precise dimensions and the uniform shapes of the composite paving stones, the laying is easy and fast to accomplish. In some cases it is possible to use a laying machine that saves manpower when laying the surfaces. The standard colors of the composite paving stones are light gray, red, brown and anthracite, which can also be decorative combined with the same shape. As a special color manufacturers also offer white composite paving stones, which are produced with white cement and are significantly more expensive than the other colors.

The most common forms of composite paving stones

When using concrete composite blocks, symmetrical S, I and H laying patterns are possible. The most popular representative of H-form plaster is the bone stone. In staggered installation, the broad paving stone ends fit into the indentations of the neighboring stone and produce on the long sides a continuous serrated groove course. This type of pavement is also known as a double-T pavement. An identical ridge-shaped joint in the horizontal and vertical direction is created with composite paving stones in hexagonal shape, which are also offered under the term honeycomb plaster. Complex paving stones with wave-shaped edges, which nestle in a staggered manner, are popular with their curvilinear joint pattern, creating a decorative accent. Polygonal composite paving stones may be formed isosceles or asymmetrically cut relative to the single side edge of the stone. This results in uniform joint profiles that can not be mirrored.

Stability in the plaster composite larger

The close position of the individual composite paving stones to each other and the mutual geometric "overlap" transfers weight load from a single paving stone to the adjacent specimens. This cushioning of the load increases the load-bearing capacity of the entire composite pavement, so that even with the smallest standard thickness of the composite paving stones of six centimeters, driving on vehicles is possible. Other standard strengths are eight, ten and twelve centimeters. The material price for the square-meter composite paving stones starts at eight euros for gray products, the standard colors without white range between ten and 15 euros. Particularly infiltrated eco-composite paving stones can cost up to 18 euros.
